Terms of Use
Effective date: July 15, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ForgePilot (“ForgePilot”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a project-management application for commercial millwork and casework shops. By accessing or using ForgePilot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The Service
ForgePilot is a hosted, multi-tenant software service that helps millwork and casework shops manage the lifecycle of their projects — bids, drawings, materials, scheduling, and related records. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Accounts and Access
Access to ForgePilot is provisioned by us for a specific organization (“your organization”). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your organization.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to access data belonging to another organization, or probe, scan, or breach security or authentication measures;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- upload malware, or interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties outside your organization without our written consent.
4. Your Data and Ownership
As between you and us, your organization owns the data it submits to ForgePilot (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit Customer Data solely to provide and maintain the service. You are responsible for your Customer Data and for having the necessary rights to submit it. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Intellectual Property
ForgePilot, including its software, design, and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by us and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your organization’s internal business purposes. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
6. Third-Party Services
The service relies on third-party infrastructure providers to operate — including Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (application hosting), and Resend (transactional email). Your use of the service is also subject to those providers’ availability and terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
7. Availability
We work to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and we may suspend or limit access as needed to protect the service, our users, or comply with law.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it for business, financial, or contractual decisions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ForgePilot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim (or, if you have paid nothing, one hundred U.S. dollars).
10. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your right to use the service ends; we will make Customer Data available for a reasonable period on request where practicable, after which it may be deleted.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes will be the state and federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
